Sugar Glider Digital
Since 2022, I have been collaborating with both traditional and digital artists to see their artworks animated.
Sugar Glider Digital works with these artists and clients to license out these animated pieces to companies looking to display some gorgeous artwork in their place of business.
This opportunity has led me to see through the full animated potential of a diverse range of art. This has culminated in animations of mine being featured in the the CBDs of both Sydney and Melbourne.

Last Chance - RMITV
“Last Chance” is a short film directed by Zak Marrinan and funded by RMITV.
It is the story of Sally, a venue supervisor at the local family bistro/pokies venue as an unlikely customer wins the grand jackpot at the pokies setting off a massive argument with some regulars.
I was approached to create a simulation of a pokies screen themed around the gold rush, from scratch.
This film is currently playing in festivals, and you can check out the trailer here.
When creating this piece, I wanted to emulate the way a pokies roll moves. I specifically focused on the timing of each column and the motion blur that is usually incorporated for ease on the eyes.
I also created all of the icons and text myself.
Riser Logo Concept
This logo animation was commissioned by a Eastern Suburbs based construction company looking for concept art for a potential rebrand.
The final resting frame is what was sent to me. I took the main elements of the piece (the squares, the missing parts of the R’s and the name of the company) and incorporated them together.
The name of the construction company ‘Riser’ builds itself up and down and then I used the squares to wipe away the missing parts of the R’s, emphasizing both.
Dr Dan Craig
This logo animation was commissioned by a Tasmanian based dentist and book author called Dr Daniel Craig.
This piece was different in that I designed the logo as well as the animation. The concept was that I wanted the ‘Doctor’ to appear professionally typed and the ‘Dan Craig’ to appear as though it was being signed.
The purpose of this animation was for Instagram videos, with the option to overlay just the animation itself over pre-existing footage.
Meriton Suites Acknowledgement of country
From working with Presten Warren through Sugar Glider Digital, I was commissioned to make a custom animated version of Presten’s ‘Golden Threads’ that includes an acknowledgement of country for Meriton Suites.
This is the first time I have made an acknowledgement of country, and I was incredibly honoured to have done so with such a brilliant First Nations artist.
